Turtles coming ashore in the dark of the night to lay their eggs in the
sand of some of Africa’s most secluded beaches.
Leatherback turtles come ashore at night to lay their eggs in an almost
ritual way. In February and March the hatchlings of the leatherback
turtles make their way back into the ocean. You can help with the tagging
of these hatchlings before releasing them back into the ocean.
